Prototype Addendum
Effective Date: October 7th, 2025
This Addendum applies to any prototype tools ("Prototypes") made available by Elsie or its affiliates. By accessing or using any Prototype, you agree to this Addendum, which supplements the standard Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Informational Use Only
Prototypes are provided for informational purposes only. The output may include errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing all results before taking any action based on them.
2. No Legal, Professional, or Business Advice
Prototypes do not provide legal, professional, or business advice. Use of a Prototype does not create any attorney-client, consultant-client, or fiduciary relationship.
3. User Authorization for Website Scans
If you submit a website URL for scanning or analysis, you represent and warrant that you own or are authorized to permit automated access to that website and that such use complies with all applicable intellectual property and privacy laws. Elsie may disable scanning for any site upon request or if we become aware of potential terms-of-service violations.
4. AI Output Disclaimer
Prototypes may use artificial intelligence to generate outputs. All outputs are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. You must independently verify any recommendations before using them.
5. Limitation of Liability & Ownership
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elsie's total liability for any claim related to a Prototype will not exceed $100. Elsie will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from use of a Prototype.
Users retain ownership of all content submitted to the Prototypes. Elsie retains ownership of all software, workflows, and underlying technology.
6. Privacy, Data Use & Retention
If you provide personal information (such as an email address) in connection with a Prototype, it will be used solely to deliver results and related updates. Users may request deletion of their data at any time, and data will not be retained longer than necessary to deliver results. Users may opt out of receiving communications at any time.
7. U.S.-Only Use
Prototypes are intended for use within the United States. Use outside the U.S. may be restricted or unavailable.
8. Prototype Status & Changes
Prototypes are experimental, may change at any time, and may be discontinued without notice.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Addendum will be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
